Alejandro Garnacho is once again in the public spotlight — and not for his performances on the pitch. The young Manchester United winger was recently caught on camera holding a vape inside a tattoo studio, at a time when his future at Old Trafford is already hanging in the balance.

The footage, which quickly spread across social media platforms, shows Garnacho holding what appears to be a Hayati Pro Ultra vaping device while getting a tattoo. The image has sparked heated discussions among fans and football observers, with many questioning whether the incident could further complicate his already uncertain standing at Manchester United.

A Déjà Vu Moment from Two Years Ago

This is not the first time Garnacho has been linked to vaping. Two years ago, a similar controversy arose when a vape-like device was spotted in his home through an Instagram Story. The post was deleted shortly after it was uploaded, but screenshots had already circulated widely online.

At the time, sources close to Garnacho insisted that the device belonged to a family member and not to the Argentine winger himself. While that previous incident eventually faded from headlines, this latest episode has reignited debate about his off-field image.

Legal in the UK, but Still a Talking Point

Although vaping devices such as the Hayati Pro Ultra are legal in the United Kingdom, the timing of this latest controversy is far from ideal. Manager Ruben Amorim has already made it clear that Garnacho is no longer in his long-term plans, further fueling speculation about a potential transfer.

Chelsea have emerged as the most serious contender to sign the 20-year-old forward. Garnacho’s current market value is believed to have dropped to around £50 million, significantly lower than the original £70 million price tag Manchester United set earlier in the year.

Sources indicate that Chelsea’s management is unconcerned about Garnacho’s off-field controversies. The London club is reportedly focused on his footballing potential, despite a summer filled with personal drama — including rumors of a strained relationship with Eva Garcia, the mother of his child.

Garnacho’s Record at Manchester United

Since making his senior debut for Manchester United in April 2022, Garnacho has amassed 144 appearances, scoring 26 goals and providing 22 assists. He has played a key role in the club’s recent successes, helping United lift the FA Cup in 2024 and the Carabao Cup in 2023.

However, despite having three years left on his contract, the Argentine winger’s position at Old Trafford appears increasingly precarious. With Amorim signaling a tactical overhaul and Chelsea pushing to secure his signature, a departure this summer is looking more and more likely.
