When you look at games that kept us on the edge of our seats, the 3-3 draw between Portugal and Spain on opening day has to be mentioned. This game was all the more stunning for us because Belgium came from 2 goals down to deliver this unexpected victory. Of course, the drama didn’t end here. The Japanese team went into the locker room and cried their hearts out. After this, they went on to clean their dressing room clear out the rubbish before leaving a note saying, “Thank you, Russia” in Russian!

Before you bite our heads off, we know; the unique goals the likes of Toni Kroos, Nacer Chadli, Jesse Lingard, and Nacho scored were truly exceptional.
