During an exhilarating encounter on October 15, 2026, AC Milan‘s young star, Alphadjo Cisse, showcased his remarkable talent against RB Salzburg in the 2026/2027 Europa League. In just 50 minutes, the 19-year-old forward netted a sensational hat-trick, earning him a place in the record books as the youngest Italian to accomplish such a feat in a competitive European match.
An Impressive Start for Cisse and AC Milan
Cisse began the match with high energy and quickly established himself as a key player for the Rossoneri. Recording his first professional hat-trick, he captured the attention of football enthusiasts and analysts alike, emphasizing not only his scoring ability but also his potential in the sport. According to statistics from Opta, Cisse set a new benchmark at just 19 years and 358 days old, surpassing previous records for Italian players.
The young attacker’s three goals during this match were crucial, and they took his tally to five goals in the first seven matches of the season, a performance that did not go unnoticed by head coach Ruben Amorim. His impressive start reflects Cisse’s position as a rising star within both his club and the national team.
A Bright Future Ahead
Cisse’s accomplishments this season extend beyond club football. His contributions to the Italian U-21 team are notable, including a decisive goal in the Euro 2027 qualifiers that helped secure a crucial 1-0 victory. This goal further solidified his reputation as a player who delivers in high-pressure situations.
Interestingly, Cisse is part of a rich lineage at AC Milan. Remarkably, he was not even born when the legendary Filippo Inzaghi last scored a hat-trick for the Rossoneri during a European competition, specifically against Deportivo La Coruna in 2002. This demonstrates not only the tradition that Cisse continues but also the potential legacy he might create in the future.
After the match, coach Ruben Amorim praised Cisse’s performance, noting that his success stems from dedication and hard work. “He deserves all the opportunities he is getting due to his own efforts; he owes nothing to me,” Amorim commented. He further highlighted Cisse’s explosive playing style and competitive spirit on the field, acknowledging the player’s eagerness to improve even more. “He knows how to play explosively. His fighting spirit is high, but there’s always room for growth, both in training and matches,” added Amorim.
Cisse’s remarkable achievements thus far have made him a standout player not only for AC Milan but also for Italian football as a whole. As the season progresses, fans and analysts alike will eagerly watch to see how this promising talent continues to develop.
With the next Serie A match against Atalanta scheduled for October 18, 2026, expectations will only rise for Cisse and his teammates. As he continues to break records and pave a path for future successes, Alphadjo Cisse is certainly a name to remember in the world of football.
