Persib Bandung’s wing-back, Rezaldi Hehanussa, is scheduled to rejoin team training on Saturday (April 5, 2025) after a lengthy injury recovery period.
The player, who wears jersey number 56, has only made one appearance in the 2024/2025 BRI Liga 1 season, during an away match against Dewa United in the second week, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Rezaldi, often nicknamed “Bule,” had been named on the bench a few times but has been absent from the main squad since week seven due to the injury and has since focused on recovery.
After a period of rest and rehabilitation, recent updates confirm that the former Persija Jakarta player will soon be back with Persib Bandung.
Recovery Still in Progress
News of Rezaldi’s return was shared by Persib’s team doctor, Wira Prasetya, after a training session at GBLA Stadium, Bandung, on Thursday (April 3, 2025).
“Rezaldi is scheduled to return on April 5. We will conduct a further evaluation of the recovery process he underwent while in Tangerang,” said Wira to SBOTOP.
The team doctor hopes that Rezaldi’s recovery has gone well so that he can strengthen Persib for the remainder of the season.
“Our hope is that he comes back fit and ready to play again. We’ll assess his condition further once he arrives in Bandung,” Wira added.
“As for David da Silva, as already known, he’s still in recovery from a soft tissue injury. Hopefully, he can return to play within the next few weeks,” he continued.
Kastaneer Expected Return to Persib on April 10
Meanwhile, Gervane Kastaneer, who is recovering from a minor knee injury, is expected to return to training on April 10.
“Kastaneer has a light knee injury. We hope he recovers quickly and is ready to play against Bali United,” Wira said to SBOTOP Indonesia.
“Overall, we’re hoping that all the players currently recovering—including Kastaneer, David, and Rezaldi—can return soon so they’re available for the last seven matches of this Liga 1 season,” Wira concluded.
