SBOTOP: Top 10 Most Valuable Indonesian National Team Players Right Now

Several players from the Indonesian national football team have seen significant changes in their transfer market value, according to the latest update released by Transfermarkt. Two players who have attracted the most attention are Mees Hilgers and Jay Idzes.

Transfermarkt updated its player market values on March 28, 2028. From this update, three Indonesian national team players saw changes in their market value: Mees Hilgers, Jay Idzes, and Dean James.

Mees Hilgers Experiences a Market Value Drop

Mees Hilgers, a defender for FC Twente and previously the Indonesian national team’s highest-valued player, has seen a decrease in his market value. Previously, Hilgers was valued at €9 million (approx. IDR 164.8 billion), but that number has dropped to €7 million (approx. IDR 128.2 billion). Despite the decrease, Hilgers still holds the top spot as the highest-valued player in the Indonesian national team, according to Transfermarkt.

Jay Idzes Sees a Significant Rise in Indonesian National Team

On the other hand, according to SBOTOP, Indonesia’s national team captain, Jay Idzes, has seen a remarkable increase in market value thanks to his impressive performances. His current market value has risen to €5 million (approx. IDR 91.58 billion), nearly double his January 2025 valuation of €3 million (approx. IDR 54.9 billion). This surge places Jay Idzes in second place for highest market value in the Indonesian national team, tied with Emil Audero, the newly joined goalkeeper.

Ole Romeny’s Position

Meanwhile, Ole Romeny, a forward for the Indonesian national team who recently scored an important goal, has claimed the seventh spot on the list. The Oxford United striker, who has only played twice for the national team, is currently valued at €1.3 million (approx. IDR 28.8 billion).
